HAL: The Healthy Alternative
We live in an era of cholesterol and salt free products so what better time to introduce the healthy alternative to the mining industry. Introducing HAL (Healthy Alternative Lubricator), our grease lubrication system designed to replace the unhealthy oil lubrication system for pneumatic drills. The Hal lubricator is a new air line lubricator that significantly reduces oil mineral mist exhausted into the air by pneumatic rock drills and tools and, at the same time, deliver the required amount of lubrication for the rock drills and tools to work efficiently. We accomplish this by using grease instead of oil for lubrication. The lubricator accomplishes predictable and variable grease delivery by using interchangeable orifice sizes. The lubricator reduces the chance of foreign particles entering the grease reservoir during the filling process by filling the lubricator through a grease nipple. The Hal lubricator is a technological advancement because there is no other product/system that meets or exceeds the new proposed oil mist limits (from 5mg/m3 to 1mg1m3).
